im using launcher pro and i only have one homescreen. what size do i make a picture/background to fit perfectly without stretching? and what program do i use to do it? thanks!!!

You need to edit your photos, or make them in a size of 960 X 800. You can use photoshop or any photo editing tool to make the image that size. One thing to know, is when you select it, and the green box shows on the evo, you need to hold the corner and drag it out to show the whole image.

besides photoshop....whats another good app to resize photos

i had gimp before. i just haven't used it in a while. in the thread "let us peak at your screens" a lot of people had icons in the launcher pro dock that were worded. there dimensions are 125x125. the only thing i can't figure out is how to get it to be transparent . if anyone knows how to accomplish that, i would greatly appreciate it!

try SUMO
.: Sumo Paint 2.0 :.

a friend showed it to me, and it is web based, and will export and import .png format, which is good for saving with transparency.

the correct screen resolution for Evo, is 960x800. if you use this size, when selecting any wallpaper just expand the red box until it covers the whole image. this will give you the best result.
