Help anyone not receiving texts?

so tonight at about 10 p.m. (eastern time) my phone stopped receiving text messages. I've had my friends send me some to test and I haven't gotten any of them. I did numerous battery pulls and restarts. anyone else having this problem? wondering if its vzw or my phone...

Also, I have problems sending them sometimes as welll.. generally when I'm moving from an area on campus with no service to somewhere with service, stilll never had a problem on my Eris.

What carriers are everyone else on? Are they on the same network as you? You can go https://text.vzw.com/customer_site/jsp/messaging_lo.jsp and send yourself a text. Check for commonality from those texting you to see if there's something in common. Might be a porting issue if you ported your number from another carrier. Your number may need to be re-provisioned by Verizon.

I just got that one too. But never got any of the messages from last night... hmm. I guess we'll see if I can get anyones texts throughout the day. Still wanna know why I didn't get any last night
