Now I haven't seen any proof that the email is genuine, decide for yourself.

Sorry mods if you want it in the One forum (if it's even populated yet lol) feel free to move it.
Just want to show how shady some of these OEMs can be

Cheers mate. I'm seeing more stuff saying it's fake plus there's no header in the screeny

Sounds like the back cover is too tight to remove. Flossy Carter damaged his lol. Even Erica Griffin says after carefully removing the back cover and putting it back on, she noticed a slight gap which wasn't there before.

I like tight-fitting cover, but I think they chose the wrong kind of plastic. It doesn't have to be super hard plastic to make it fit tight. It needs some sort of flexibility.

That being said, hope I win one of those giveaways. :D The wife just got a M8 and her mother got a S5. Would be interesting to compare.

I got an invite, I claimed it and the phone is in my cart, I am having trouble deciding if I should get it. I have a Moto X and I am happy, but I see they are moving quite nicely on Ebay. That said, I am afraid if I buy it for the sole purpose of selling it, I will be tempted to open it and play with it, then I might like it, then I might keep it and then I'd be out $350 bucks I don't NEED to spend. :D

It's a tough choice.

I say order it,if not, you'll always wonder WHAT IF.......

If you can afford to,get it & don't worry about being tempted.
Why?
Well, should you fall to temptation & open it,try it out, trust me,you'll be glad you did.

The 1+1 has a clean user-friendly interface w/CM11 on-board & the phone iS SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH & FAST.

I say order it & start looking for a buyer for your MOTO X.

Speaking from experience, albeit a very brief one at that,I've pared down from 5 phones to 2 since getting the 1+1.

Took your advice. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Kind of a pain in the butt that they offer only PayPal as a payment option. I enjoy the added insurances provided by using my credit card (as well as the bonus points) but such is life.

I am certain if I open it I will like it. And if I do I am furthermore also certain my wife will beat me to death. :(

If I do keep it, I will miss my Moto X ...it's the best phone I have ever had. And I was looking forward to the X+1 ... if anyone wants to get an X+1 when it comes out for ATT and trade let me know. :D

Keep us posted as events unfold, you have a captive audience here. :)

Unless your wife is not a fan of ANDROID or large phones, don't be surprised if she ends up wanting it for herself......... ;)

Glad to see people here getting invites and being able to order. Hope you all enjoy it. Hopefully it is not far behind for us who still want to purchase. Please be sure to relay any issues or concerns in this forum. Thanks.

I have had a OPO for almost 2 weeks now, I've gone back and forth with their crappy customer service and their asinine ticket request to get the phone RMA's and no surprise here they will not do it. No matter what you say or post. I sent photos but in the end it's when the device is in your hand that you notice it the most, it's a yellow "wash" along the lower portion of the screen and it creeps up the sides, it's very noticeable on twitter's app and Chrome. I left it in the sun for a while and went to the nail salon and used the UV lamp on it for 20 minutes because 10 didn't do much. It really hasn't changed much other than maybe healing or curing the yellow down a little, it's still present and def visible. They have even stopped replying to my service request emails and the last few times they did it said that this is part of the "warm" tones of the phone and that the screen should look like that and they will not RMA it for this problem. I can send it back for another $50 bucks in shipping costs and request a replacement device (which may or may not have this same issue) but then I will have to pay for shipping on the new device as well. SO I'll chalk this one up to foolishness and cut my losses at this point. I will not do business with them again and will warn others of their crappy censorship practices and piss-poor customer service.

I've had the phone for a little over a week now and have no problems what so ever. I love it and have to say that it is the best phone I have owned. I came from a Moto X that I liked but missed the larger screen that I had with my Note 2. This phone is the total package excellent battery, camera, screen and you can't beat the price or the advantages that stock CM 11 comes with. I feel bad for people that have had the issue but I think they are in the minority. I would recommend this phone to anyone. As long as you don't mind the 5.5" display size.

I'm still without an invite, think I got skipped over although they claim they sent one. I live out of my inbox and haven't missed an email yet. This company is never wrong... at least they're highly skilled at passing the buck.

Living vicariously through the two friends at work that got theirs I must say it's a gamble just like attempting to get an invite.

One of the two is a pretty good phone in terms of quality, whereas the other frustrated the owner so bad he's paying to ship it back today since the dodgy customer service at OP refused to even though they're replacing it for yellowing and very bad connectivity. Call quality so sketchy it's useless as a phone.

My brother in Boston just got his. He's reasonably satisfied, other than a loose back cover that's he is going to fix himself since service tickets and that process is dreadful. Perhaps we're being reminded you get what you pay for.

I'm not sure what to do if the magical invite arrives. It's a compelling phone, yet the companies arrogance reminds me of Apple. It seems like if you get a usable one they're not bad.

Ordered mine on the 17th....still processing. I am rolling with the S4 GPE now. I'll see how the OPO is...if I like it great, I'll keep it and sell the S4 GPE. If not, off to ebay the OPO shall go.

Well I got mine but my Sim from my moto x is a micro and too small for this phone. So its more trouble than its worth to test it out. Nice phone in the hand though. For a "bigger phone" it feels food. Very slim and the back has a very pleasing texture. Guess its off to eBay with mine too.

The MOTO X takes a NANO SIM which is indeed smaller than the one required for the 1+1,which is a MICRO SIM.

Don't let that be a deterrent,SIM CARD adapters are available:

Nano Sim Card to Micro Sim Card Standard Sim Card Adapter Adaptor Converter | eBay

This way,if you choose to keep both phones, switching back & forth is possible.

Sounds like the back cover is too tight to remove. Flossy Carter damaged his lol. Even Erica Griffin says after carefully removing the back cover and putting it back on, she noticed a slight gap which wasn't there before.

Doesn't it have any kind of release button that you press to release the back, like with the Oppo F7? Press it with paperclip or pin. It's not immediately obvious with the Oppo and one will have a hard time removing the back without pressing the release button, possibly damaging it.
