Anyone Rooted?

Has anybody taken the leap and rooted using the method mentioned in the thread above? I had hoped that JB would let me finally use FoxFi to tether my laptop or Nexus 7, but it seems it still won't work. I don't tether frequently, but it's nice to have a backup plan if I don't have internet access. It's the only disappointment coming from a RAZR Maxx. Not even sure that FoxFi will work again with root, but it's worth a try.
 
The process is very very easy and quick. I used the motofail2go zip and you basically click a zip file and follow the prompts. Don't be scared.
 
The whole process took maybe 10 minutes, and that's because I walked away to get a snack. I downloaded the motofail2go package and followed the instructions on that. I think there's a total of 3 to 5 prompts that you have to follow and you're set. Don't be scared man!
 
Thanks...I'll hold off till tomorrow (when the Verizon store is open) in case I brick it. The one and only reason I'm interested in rooting is the hope that FoxFi will work. If you have any info on that, I'd appreciate it.
 
OK...ran the BAT file in motofail2go and rebooted...no joy. Still no root access, no FoxFi. Nothing appears to have changed.
