Anyone still having the GPS issues created by the Jelly Bean update?

Is anyone still getting the GPS issue that was somehow created out of the blue with the Jelly Bean update? I don't understand how Google/Verizon so easily created this glitch and they haven't fixed it yet.

Basically anytime I want to use GPS, I either have to wait about 10 minutes for it to lock on, or I have to try rebooting, or try toggling the location services on and off and eventually it will work.

I'm running MMuzzy's custom rom which supposedly has a gps lock tweak in it, but I'm still getting these glitches. Anyone know a way to get it working? It's really important that I have GPS because I use it everyday to find my way around traffic jams and also I'm not familiar with the area I moved to recently.

I was considering getting the nexus 4, and this gps issue, along with the lag on the gnex is making me want to switch. I'm just worried about t-mobile's coverage.

Get GPS Status, then in the Tools section, download A-GPS data. Usually helps it lock on in a few seconds to a minute for me.

Although I'm not sure if the issue is GNexus specific. I've had these issues all the way back to my Eris. Sometimes it just helps to redownload A-GPS data.
