Anyone still waiting for VZGnex 4.2.2 update to hit

Im in Maryland btw still not have gotten OTA update yet?! Anyone else in the area have there hit or anyone else still waiting?

Update rolled out just yesterday. Many (most) people who are stock are still waiting and the rollout is not geographical. Devices in the same house may get them many days apart.

O ok will I feel better now but this wait is annoying wish we could have an all at once roll out jeez

Verizon always rolls out. It serves 2 purposes ... 1. Limits load. Since they don't go by geography, the updates won't bog down any 1 area. 2. If the update has a problem (which despite internal testing does happen)... they can halt the update and await a fix. This limits the number of customer service time fixing every phone as the problem arises.

For those who don't wish to root.... waiting makes you safest for a bug less update.

That said..... I am very impatient myself.

I'm in New York and still no luck on mine...I've tried the force stopping of google services framework trick, but still no luck...I'm gonna wait it out through the weekend, and if nothing shows up, I'm gonna have to root this baby...

If you're tired of waiting, you could just install it manually. It's the same as what was leaked a couple of weeks ago. Also, not too much longer and google will post the factory image in case you wish to install it that way.

Just got my notification for my vzw gnex update. Didn't apply it yet.
I am currently rooted and unlocked. I thought the updates didn't automatically come in when you are unlocked/rooted?
If I do it, I will probably lose root.. but still be unlocked...right?
I have cwm installed... that should also still be there? right ?

Because custom recovery is installed, the OTA will not install automatically because it will fail. However you should be able to manually flash the OTA in cwm and that should work. Once finished, you will lose root immediately, and you will lose cwm one you reboot. However you will remain unlocked and thus will easily be able to get them back.

Unlocked and rooted here, I lost root but it is still unlocked. A quick use of Nexus Root Toolkit solved that little problem.

The rollout is not by state. People always ask but it is irrelevant..... every state has updates and people waiting...... people in the same house with same phone can get updated week apart........ or more if rollout takes a while

I updated and factory reset yesterday morning at work. So far, so good. I like the incremental improvements. Good work, Google!

Got my update late last night in Los Angeles, but previous posters are correct, the VZ updates are never by geography. My wife's phone has yet to receive it, even though she got 4.1 earlier than me on the previous update cycle.

First impression : My favorite change so far is the ability to hide lockscreen pattern when unlocking, so nobody can look at your phone and see your pattern. Getting used to the new clock fonts. Otherwise, it feels a tad faster than before.

Not sure why Google now cards that I have swiped away keep reappearing. I don't need the constant reminder that my alma mater lost in the first round of the NIT.

Still waiting here in Maryland.

Kicker is my wife got is Friday!

Traied the framework trick and no luck. Any difference if you are on 4G vs. WiFi?
