Accessories Anyone think EVO w/ a case on is just too big?

there is no way im putting this huge heavy phone in my pocket, i cant wait till i find a case with a clip that this phone can fit in

I'm using the platinum Seidio case from BB, no complaints. It's big, but manageable. Not gonna lie, I wish the phone was a bit smaller but then you wouldn't have the awesome screen. And with a case I feel the phone is better protected, especially the back of the phone.

My wife and I both have the Seidio rebranded cases from Best Buy. It doesn't make the phone feel much bigger to us and is worth it for the grip and to protect the camera lens. I've seen some though that really make the phone look a lot bigger.

It's real close with the Evo. Even just a certain kind of case design can push it over the edge into being too big. The case we have has just the right fitment to not push it over that edge. I personally wouldn't go with anything that was much bigger than this though or that had bulky fitment in the wrong areas.

I'm using the same white case that TS reviewed, as well as the anti-glare screen protector (also sold by Sprint).

I find that because my hands are small and I have to do everything 2-handed anyway, it really doesn't affect me whether there's a case or not. It's too big either way. :-) So I figure I'm much better off with the case and some protection.

I really like my Otterbox. Took it off the other day to dust off my Evo. Phone looks like it did the day I took it out of the box. New and clean! Great protection from OB.

I really like the rugged case, and the Trident case I bought for my Evo. It may not be as sexy as it is naked, but it feels better in my Goliath hands. Then again, most people's hands aren't as big as mine, so opinions may vary. I like the feel of the Evo minus the cases/chunk tank add-ons, but it just doesn't sit as well in my hand as it does with half a metric shit ton of plastic and silicon strapped to it.

That's my honest opinion (all joking aside). If you have smaller hands, either go bare and be careful, or just get something thin to cover the outside from major scratches and crap. Do what you want! It IS your phone, after all. Who's to tell you what you should or shouldn't do?.... aside from this site... seeing as it is mainly for help....

I agree with you Thefoodman52, me being a 6'4 man with large hands the otterbox commuter case is perfect for my hands and for the size of my pockets. Without the case it feel just a tad bit small and like it will slip out of my hands. So I guess your mileage will vary depending on the size of the vehicle your soul is riding in.

I have one of those tft cases (i think). It's the hybrid rubber and plastic case. It adds very little bulk and best if all it doesn't have that overly 'rubbery' feeling when u stick it in ur pocket and have to take it back out. And on the flip side I don't have to worry about me dropping it and my case being all broken up in 2 like a hard case would do.

I had the platinum case and holster combo, same as the seidio innocase and it's just fine. Love the holster too!
