Anyone try the Gumbo 1.5c ROM?

I'm downloading it right now to give it a try, I'm going to try the bare one, and see if I like it, probably going to stick with Fresh 1.1 but its worth a try. I'll let ya'll know what I think.

After trying both bare and full, I don't like it, its very basic, very boring, and slower than Fresh. I did like the launcher on bare but that was about it.

did you do a wipe before flashing it? if not, that would be the only way to really compare the speed of the ROM.. I thought about trying it and I know that one user here is using it...


of course the great thing about rooting is YOU get to decide what YOU like best...

Anyone know if the full has more than 3 screens?? I just saw on XDA that the bare only has three screens - but is running sense UI!?!

I think the full has the full blown SenseUI so it should have more than 3

Bare had bits and pieces of Sense thrown in but not all of it. The keyboard was one I remember. But yes only 3 screens.

Fully has complete Sense on it.

the full gumbo should be exactly like the stock Hero.. with just a few tweaks to the OS.. since it has the full SenseUI, it should have 7 screens.. don't hold me to that though.. I haven't tried it and really have no need to try it..

I use the Gumbo 1.5c - full. It does have 7 screens, feels fast just like when I first put the fresh 1.1 on. I did a wipe, I usually do this when flashing new. I have been very satisfied.
