Nope, it won't work. I actually got that item several weeks ago when I was searching on VZW's site for Nexus accessories. It said it was compatible with the Nexus, so I ordered it, and when it arrived it was the Stratosphere battery and charger. The Stratosphere battery is slightly taller than the Nexus battery, and the contacts are different.

They've since corrected the listing so that it doesn't show as working with the Nexus, but the proper piece has shown as "Temporarily Out of Stock" for well over a month...

I ended up getting a Lenmar

In hopes that it would out-last my phone and I could use it on the next set of batteries. Works pretty well so far. It's kinda awkward but it does the job. YMMV.
