Anyone upgrade from Desire?

my GF has a nexus S and I have a desire and I have noticed a slight delay on the touchscreen response on the Nexus S - has any one else noticed that?? I do love my desire and for me it is great all round package. I do think it looks dated already though, especially compared to the nexus S plus the internal memory sucks....I am not one for rooting and TBH the average user shouldnt have to.

No delay here at all. She should have her phone checked and if faulty, get it replaced. Few replies earlier, I posted this link:
Google Nexus S (Samsung) true MultiTouch capability on Vimeo

Super responsive and also, 5 registration points, true multitouch experience. However, HTC Desire failed even just on 2 registration points. See here:

I hated the internal memory so i got the Nexus S. I love it. Compared to the Desire, yes the Nexus S does feel cheap-er but not cheap. I think its well made. Its not feather light either so it doesn't feel too bad. Besides if you don't like it, just slap a case on it.
