anyone upset about resolution c/w bionic

Bionic missed out on not having a kickstand .. The Thunderbolt missed out by no HDMI

Honestly I think I'll use the kickstand more then HDMI haha

Ohh man the petty features on todays high end phones

i have an app, jetflicks, that has a ton of half hour and hour tv series on it. Everything from ABC to Showtime. I dont have showtime on my cable at home, but i can watch Dexter on jetflicks.

seems like DNLA would be good if you just shot a video. I train kids and would love to show them on bigger screens how they look. I also cycle and cycle near the golden gate bridge. I find myself doing a lot more picture and video, more than when I had Hi end cameras and videos..I own a dinc

I agree. Looking at specs on "paper" doesn't make a difference to me. When I had my Droid X, I thought the screen was great. When I got the INC and compared it, the INC blew it out of the water.

SO true. I bought a DX last week in hopes that I'd replace my INC, but after using it for 3-4 days, I found the screen to be abysmal. When I moved my contacts, the text would flicker as it scrolled and it was terribly annoying. The flickering happened in other places, as well as games.

Shipped it back.

The INC's screen, while smaller, is far superior.

jw if anyone has seen the graphics on the optimus 2x? Idk what the gaming graphics or performance will be compared to the TB or Bionic.. but wow

I have both the Inc and DX. I use the DX as my daily phone. Besides the obvious differences in screen size, where the DX shines over the Inc, the DX is actually a "brighter" screen. While the Inc has much deeper, nicer colors being amoled. I really like samsung amoled and my next phone will probably be something that sports the super amoled coming out, but the DX screen is really pretty nice. That being said, it won't come down to amoled or no amoled, it will come down to overall quality. Until we see some of these new phones side by side we are kind of guessing.

For me it's about the look, not the specs. I would have to actually be holding both of them side by side, and compare them on a screen by screen basis. I can't say it really bothers me, only because most people (I said most, not all lol) don't by their phone because of the resolution alone. :)

Oh, you mean how the display looks- not the device itself. Whew! I was getting ready to call the vanity police!:)

You can over clock on the x too the only difference is unless motor releases the gingerbread than we can't install it that's the only difference coming from my og. Droid to the droid x was not a big difference or one at all I like the x way more actually

I actually prefer the TB, since the display dimensions result in less squishing in of graphics. A lot of games look slightly squished on the Moto devices, due to the odd dimensions.

If you pay attention to it, the "squishing" can get kind of annoying.

added for Bing:

Never bothered rooting Droid X, since the process seemed more an issue at the time, compared to the Inc. Inc is real simple :)

Droid X too now? If I choose the Bionic over the TB, you never know. Then again, different chipset, so probably different root process.
