Anyone use Gmote?

I have gmote on my Eris and the server on my computer, but I am running windows 7 and noticed that it says for xp/vista. Is this the reason my phone wont connect to the server? Please help thanks

I tried it on my XP desktop and Vista laptop. Another desktop runs 7 but haven't tried it on that. The first two did not work for me, but I believe it was because I am r.etarded at networking.

lol well I actually figured it out. Stupid me forgot to enter my wep password so my phone would connect WiFi :x so mods this thread can be deleted if you want!
