Root Anyone Use Square Register?

So, my square card reader will NOT read cards on PG's Cm10... anyone else have this problem or any way to fix this?? I was willing to live with the other problems but I need the card reader to work for my business. Might have to go back to stock if I cant figure out how to fix it..

The card reader is probably designed to work with the stock ROM, so you probably will have to go back to it. Check with the manufacturer, though. CM is a very popular ROM, so they should make the device work with it.

CM is popular, but many manufacturers are unfamiliar with root and or jailbreak. They tend to see us all as pirates :fight:, when in fact most of us root for completely different reasons. I did it to remove bloatware.

I did not try the square on CM, but it does work with my rooted motion, yes some bank/credit card apps/devices (like Bank of America card reader) will not work with rooted or custom roms. I do know the square is really touchy for me, some cards it will not read but work fine on other card readers.

i use square and my reader worked on both PG's and Bobz roms. How old is your reader because i had to order a new one. And if the reader doesnt work you can still enter cards manually.
