Anyone use this case on their Optimus V

I was out at the mall this weekend, the guy at the Sprint booth showed me a Otter Commuter series case LG Optimus Cases, LG Optimus OtterBox // OtterBox.com made for the Optimus V. It was a little high priced $39.95 but he told me he'd go down to $29.95. I wasn't wanting to spend that on a case but it looked nice and felt great. What I'm wondering is now does it work with the Optimus, I mean the on/off button Volume up/down an so on?

I got mine from Amazon for around $15 if memory serves me. There are a few on Amazon right now around $25.

I finally got my Otterbox Commuter for my Optimus V today. Fits great! It is a thick silicone sleeve with a hard plastic back that snaps over the gel. It makes the phone feel much sturdier. It also has silicone over all the buttons on the side. The microSD slot is covered by the hard plastic, but you can get to it through the silicone.

There is a flap that covers the headphone port as well as the USB port. The case came with a screen protector, I purchased a 5 pack from Amazon. They have what looks like a notch for an LED on the Optimus S, not familiar with the phone so not 100% sure if that is what it is. The screen protector from Otterbox does not have the notch however.

Thanks MacFett. I had a look at your review. Guess I'll be buying this one! Oh almost forgot you offered to help with moving file to my new SD card. I did it with no problems. But thanks for the offer. I've even downloaded a peice of software to convert all my music file from m4a to MP3 and have my iTune music on my SD card as well. COOL BEAN!

Great case. I got one on Amazon last summer for around $25 or so. It offers great protection for the phone and fits perfectly. One would have to take the case off to change the SD card, but that isn't something that is done every day. I will second the recommendation.
 
I recently dropped my Optimus and as it was falling I did that slow motion grab for it and ended up kicking it, it flew across the parking lot and hit a wall before crashing to the asphalt screen face down. I thought for sure it was done. Not even a scratch on the thing.

I've tried to get my wife to put one on her Optimus, but she refuses.
 
I got an Otterbox for X-Mas and I love it. Only ever dropped my phone once, and luckily it had that case on it. Not a scratch on it. Definitely 100% better than those BodyGlove covers.

I highly recommend the Otterbox! :D
 
Looks great but I get hard plastic rubberized snap on cases from accessories export llc. For 5-7 there based on my city so I can go right to them but they also have a website both retail and wholesale.
