Anyone using a micro sim Adapter to switch back and fourth Phones?

OK so I have my Galaxy S3 with a micro sim, but one of my friends is selling a brand new unlocked Nexus for $200 to raise some money to buy an iPhone 5 when it drops...lol! So I told him I'd buy it. Hey for $200 ya can't go wrong for pure Jellybean. And its only about a month or so old.

Anyway, who can recommend a really good adapter that won't wreck the prongs in the sim tray?

Wow...so nobody is using a micro I assume?

I'd like to help, but I am rocking the VZW version... Although looking around, I found this picture. Maybe you can get by without it, apparently the tray is pretty tight...

With vzw I'm pretty sure the s3 and gnex both use a micro Sim , so an adapter shouldn't be necessary

Jim my man....what's good!!!

I'm long gone from VZW for a while now, on at&t ...So would be using an Unlocked version, which uses the Regular sized sim card. My sim that I'm using from my S3 is micro. So I think I will need an adaptor, unless like some people have said, the micro will fit in there fine.

I picked one up on amazon for less than two bucks delivered. I used the micro sim card from my iPhone4 on my GNex. There really is not much to it, or much to screw up.

wait... what model is the phone your bying? if it is a i9250 model, then it will work on ATT and Tmobile, but not VZW and or sprint.

GSM Gnex = ATT and team mobile
CMDA Gnex = SPRINT and VZW (both are different too)

SIII and VZW Gnex both use micro sims, but both sims are different bands
to answer your question, if it is a GSM Gnex, just get an adapter and the micro sim will work on the Gnex

Yes I'm hip to all of that, its an unlocked Gnex working on at&t's HSPA+ network. I have at&t and own a GS3. I want to bounce back and fourth between phones. So I need a good adaptor with clips that holds the sim in place, not the cheap colored ones that ruin the prongs in the sim tray that they sell on amazon.

I see you switched from Verizon to AT&T. How do you like the switch in service? I just finished my contract and deciding wether to stay or switch. I am 20 miles SE of Buffalo, NY and by the end of the year LTE should be in my town for both providers. The only thing that drives me crazy with AT&T is that there is still a lot of 2G where Verizon has 3G and in most cases LTE where I travel and go to. For the most part AT&T is much faster with the hspa+ than 3 G and the lte from AT&T is super fast but AT&T has a smaller foot print. Do you have any input as to why you switched to AT&T and why someone should stay at AT&T?

That's a hard one to answer...only because it really depends on where you are located. At one point I had both, one was for a business line, and the other for a personal line. I decided to Drop VZW because I was getting some really crappy service in my house out of nowhere. So I went full force with at&t and couldn't be happier. Yes they're HSPA+ network is way better then vzws 3G...and LTE is pretty much the same to me , for the exception that at&t's LTE works much better for me when I'm home. I would definitely recommend to give at&t a try...
