Root Anyone using carbon ROM?

I flashed the 8/19 nightly earlier tonight and things seem to be pretty decent. I'm seeing much better battery life than I was on PA 3.97. Though Faux kernel doesn't seem to be ready for prime time yet, so I'm using the stock kernel that comes with Carbon.

I am also using Carbon 8/19 nightly... I've been running it all day. Normally when I flash a 4.3 ROM, I use it for 1 hour and restore my 4.2.2 AOKP backup... But honestly, I haven't had that thought once while using this... I think its safe to say, I found my semi permanent 4.3 ROM...

Update: Okay, so I am STILL using Carbon at this point. I will NOT be going back to my AOKP backup anytime soon... I am however waiting for Paranoid Android 4.0 release or for PACman to be out of Nightlies.

Agreed. I've gone through 6 4.3 roms in about 4 days. Each time has issues with battery life, fluidity, or lack of features. I think I'm going to be quite content with carbon though for a while.

You still using carbon 4.3?

you don't know if it has the dark mode? and how is working out for you, are they releasing nightlies?

Yeah I'm still on it and dark mode is in it. They have been releasing nightlies pretty consistently as well. I'm on the 8/27 nightly currently.
