anyone using nova launcher here?

I favor all custom design, and like to make my entire desktop totally black, with invisible black buttons.

While I use no launcher, the dock icon, the three little dots, large in the middle and two smaller on both sides, does not seem to go away no matter what I do.
Anyone know how to make no launcher make these little box go away?
Thanks!

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about. Go under Nova Settings > Desktop > Page Indicator > Select - None. Hope this helped.

Not seeing the point in NOVA, since is a UI bolted on vanilla Android. Kind of like what Samsung, LG and the others do, but a better effort with NOVA.

Not using Nova now, but it is great. I usually use it on a none stock device to get a stock look with stock icons etc but with a changed grid size to get another row and column of apps on screen. I also love that it easily allows you to hide unwanted apps without disabling them.

I love custom launchers (I use Apex) because I can add additional rows and columns, then shrink the icons to 95% to keep everything neat and to scale. Even stock, they are a phenomenal option for users who can't seem to get enough icons on a screen :)

I was a long-time user of Holo Launcher/HD (very similar to Nova & Apex),but, they've recently injected a spammish link on the desktop (easily removed).
But,after a no-response from the developer regarding this,I no longer recommend it.
After using Nova for a bit,I decided to give the Pro version of Apex a shot & I'm not looking back, wish I'd made the switch to Apex long ago.

Never tried Apex - why would someone choose it over Nova Pro?

I have used Nova Launcher Prime for years. There are capabilities in Nova Launcher Prime that are not in Nova Launcher.

Nova Launcher Prime supports this customization also.

Were you using Nova Launcher or Nova Launcher Prime? Are you comparing Nova Launcher to Apex Launcher Pro?

One of the really great things in Nova Launcher Prime is that you can backup and restore the configuration making movement to a new device or a Factory Data Reset much less traumatic. Apex also apparently has it.

Remove the persistent search bar on the home screen.

Hide pre-installed apps that are simply offensive every time you see them.

Seems smoother than Nova to me.
Purely subjective,but,there ya go..............

All three (Apex/Nova/Holo) do exactly the same when set-up identically & one would be hard-pressed to distinguish either in a blind test.

Apex & Nova do lack the home button in the app drawer that Holo has (may seem redundant when the back button does the same, but,I grew accustomed to it over the years).
However,I've got used to it not being there & the spam link that's now on-board w/Holo is a red flag to me & I'm not having it,especially w/the paid/Pro version.
