Anyone with every intention of keeping the Rezound still planning on checking out the GNex?

Thanks, Well I guess it isn't as bad as I thought then, just seems like it jumps around alot. Also reading all these post bitching cause they don't get 58 or whatever. Yes I am able to connect and make calls. Sometimes connecting is kind of slow though, but not bad. Interesting about the tower. Makes some sense though, as I moved about 1/4 mile down road it got real good, then started jumping around again. I still just think it is growing pains. It will get more consistent with time. I appreciate your help and I do feel better about it now. I was just use to my sammy with 3g never having any connection problems and working rather quickly on 3g. I do work at a golf course though and hope that I will get a good signal there, I use it alot to check on weather conditions. I live in Indiana, where the only thing about the weather you can count on is it is going to change. haha

Sometimes rebooting the phone will cause it to reconnect to the best available tower. I know when I had the "stuck in 1x mode" problems (and I know it was a network issue), rebooting the phone solved it.

Thanks TxGoat, got it. Did it. We'll see how that works, although the xfactor says -86 is not really that bad and I can connect and make calls. Was just wanting it to be as good as it can for my MHS to operate my tablet that I am still waiting on and my computer since I cancelled my internet provider. I hope your not a cowboy fan. Only good thing I can say bout them is they have a nice stadium. lol We have a pretty nice place here in Indy too. If you watch superbowl you will see it. thanks again for your help and pix.

Wowzer, I am amazed. Just pulled sim card and put back in and rebooted and now am showing -80 and not jumping all over. You guys rock!:D

Ha! I'd love to get -80 dBms. Ever. I may see it come and go but never on a reliable basis. True with every phone I've used its just some are worse than others.

Me too I guess. This morning I checked and am going back and forth between -78 to -86,sometimes but rarely goes to -93. I guess I should be very happy. I do live in a campus town and am only about 3 miles from them so that might help. It is an engineering school with about 40k students. (don't think verizon wants to hear them bitch, half of them can't even speak good english. haha)They have had 4g for about a year now and when going there, well wow, all I can say is it is fast, and signal strength is amazing. I think that all this will work out as verizon works to make the rest of the world as good as the few areas it started their lte network in.
