Anything higher than 2 GB data plan?

I'm currently on Verizon Wireless and I have unlimited data (Until the LTE network launches then it will probably go tiered  ) But I have used 2.088 GB just this month so far and I'm only 14 days in lol..

No tethering, nothing out of the ordinary. I'm just a heavy web surfer and application data user (especially with CES this past week).

But my question is, is there any other plan HIGHER than AT@T's 2 GB data plan you can get? I mean that is horribly low.. I couldn't find anything on their site so I was just wondering if you guys knew of anything higher like a 5 GB or something?

You can get 5GB... for $55 a month. The 2GB plan is the highest with $10/GB there after.

I would like to think since this phone is capable of being a full web browser.. and using more data.

At&t would offer 30$ unlimited again.. new network = less demand on network.. well to be more correct... same demand on newer network isn't really as big of a deal because, the newer network can handle more..

But, I doubt they are moving back to unlimited..

Unlimited was nice but it is not coming back.

Unfortunately, they will more than likely not even let you keep your current unlimited on this phone. With that laptop dock, they know how much it would be used. They'll pull what Sprint did and say since its on the new network, you'll need a new data plan....thus losing the unlimited.

As long as you have any smartphone with an Unlimited Data plan they can't force you off of it.

If you have an unlimited medianet plan ($15) and are using a dumb phone and decide to move to a smartphone then 99.9% of the time, you won't get the $30 Unlimited Smartphone plan.

They can't force you off of the unlimited 3g data plan, but I bet they are going to name the 4g something else and put it on a different charge - similar to Sprint. I will hope for them to do the 'right' thing and allow me to use all the data I can for 30, but I am not going to expect it.

I was thinking the same thing. "Sorry, 4G phones require a 4G data plan."

I have att and my family plan is grandfathered in the unlimited data plan. I have a BB and I think it is 30$ a month. I plan on getting an atrix and when I upgrade I will be very upset to say the least if they try to change it.

There is still away to get it and that is to find an orignal iPhone. It was 2G and has a special data plan. You add that phone to the account and then turn around and add any smartphone and they will upgrade you to unlimited 3G.
Now if they are changing it to a special 4G plan then who really knows what they will do. But this does work for getting 3G unlimited data.

I really dont see them letting you keep unlimited on 4G. I believe they will say, "this is 4G, new plan." That would also prevent me from buying the laptop dock...who wants to be limited to 2GB with that dock?

That Atrix will use your current data plan so if you have unlimited you'll be able to keep it. Now when LTE comes along those data plans will probably be tiered.

well, heres what i was just told about the new 4G phones

Here it says that the data plans for the Atrix are the current plans available. This leads me to think they won't change. AT&T can say that they have a 4G network if they want but it's not LTE and I don't think the plans will change until they get an LTE network.

Atrix

I want the Atrix, and will upgrade to the Atrix when it becomes available (as long as it can be rooted/modded). But that is contingent on keeping my unlimited data - if they won't let me keep my unlimited data I will not be staying with AT&T!
