Anything to do before Jelly Bean update?

Waiting patiently(!) for the Jelly Bean update for the original Galaxy Note. I want to be ready when it is finally announced so I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to be prepared?

Excercise daily, don't eat a lot of fat or sugar and don't drink too much coffee.

Are you suggesting I've been eating too much Ice Cream Sandwich ? Any thoughts on getting my Note ready too?

Just make sure you have backups of all your important stuff on your PC, before you upgrade.

Have never got around to using Kies!

As far as upgrading your OS goes, Kies is the safest option and some updates are only pushed through Kies and not OTA.
