Help Anyway for Handcent SMS to replace icon on Launcher Pro??

Please help, just want to be able to change the default messaging link destination on Launcher Pro.

For the Launcher Pro quickicons on the bottom. I want the Messaging Icon to go to the Handcent app instead of default messaging app.

Press and HOLD the Message Icon in Home Launcher Pro.

A menu should come up.

Select Applications.
Select Handcent SMS.

I think it's a bit buggy as I can not see the App Menu everytime, but it does work I have mine configured for Chomp SMS.

Yeah that worked perfectly for me. Loving LauncherPro it's stable unlike ADW which would force close every 15 seconds therefore was completely unusable.

Ok Im not sure I follow. Can I use the stock messaging widget with gosms? I used to be able to do that but since I went to 2.3 the stock messaging widget no longer asks which app and goes to the stock app.

Best widget is the stock widget. Best sms app is gosms, imho.

So want to use stock widget with gosms.

i suggest getting "Desktop Visualizer" its a great app that allows you to make any app pull up for any icon, allows custom icons as well. and its free
