Anyway to only show phone contacts?

I am trying to backup my contacts so I can update to 2.1. Currently, the contacts on my phone are split between Phone (people who I call) and Google (people who I email). My google contacts are really messy and disorganized because it is every single person I email. Currently, I have my phone only showing the phone contacts I had synced from my computer. But in order to export the contacts now, it seems I have to export them all together. When I sync it back after I update, they will probably not be split between phone and google. Is there any way to show only contacts that have a number assoicated with them so my phonebook isn't that messy?

Open "people"

Menu > View

Leave google UNchecked....

oh is this only in 2.1? I cant find this option on 1.5

Ah... correct.

1.5 doesn't have the "show phone numbers only" option. It does have the option to NOT show google contacts though.

In 1.5, use the Phones app -- it's similar to People, but displays only contacts you have phone numbers for. (Can't speak for 2.1, btw, haven't installed it yet.)

Menu > Add to Home > Folder > Live Folder > Phones
