Root Anyway to root without installing Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0???

Ok so I have been trying to root this thing will no luck. I know that you can use simple root or simple root OTA and what not. I am running the newest OTA from sprint and what not..I have tried installing the pcm file and what not but it says failed, system files are older or something of that nature. Is there a way to root without downloading Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0???

I was having the same problem - Framework 4.0 would not install on my computer. Here is the rooting method I used - PPCGeeks - View Single Post - [TUTORIALS] EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | for n00b's with videos
 
ok so I tried to do the above instructions but in order to download the files you need to be a member of that website. anyone have links to those files.
 
I used toasts method to root after the rollback. If you are able to rollback without a problem, following toasts root method just follows the same guidelines.

Stupid question, how does one Root with toasts method of where do I find instructions to do so???
