Root AOKP rom for this phone?

just wondering if any AOKP build will run on this phone...this is a major factor in deciding whether or not i will purchase it. any info you guys can provide would be awesome. thanks :)
 
Yup. There's also a AOKP JB build as well.

If you want full functionality with an official CM9 feel, I recommend using Mobster's ROM with the AOSP theme flashed over it.

Running the AOKP sprint build right now. Its pretty smooth. U can find it over at XDA.
 
no it's more than just root and flash it's unlock bootloader> root>s-off>downgrade hboot> flash rom and no it's not hard it's pretty easy don't be intimidated and you only have to unlock the bootloader s-off and downgrade the hboot once after that you can just flash roms any time

Yeah listen to him. It's pretty straight forward with a lil bit of headache on the side lol. Nothin major though.

When 3rd party is mentioned its basically saying 3rd party to 3rd party.

If both people have gosms then you can send an mms, so far I don't think there are any 3rd party apps that let you send mms to a regular user not using the same 3rd party app
 
Fwiw. I wasn't able to send an mms message using gosms to another phone using gosms. The message simply would not send. this was using cm9
