Root APK Root from Unrevoked - Reset Phone?

Does the .apk root provided by unrevoked do a full reset of the phone? Or will all data/customizations that I've already put on there stay?

Awesome - one other question - how will this affect my ability to eventually upgrade to Froyo when they release it for the Evo?

not sure if you will have to unroot or not but it wont be hard at all to get back to stock and update.
