have a new motoral atrix and an old motorola xt701 i took the sim out of the 701 and put it into the atrix the phone works but i can not save the apn settings. after many hours with my provider they tell me the phone is not grabbing the MCC and MNC numbers of the sim and thats why the APN settings will not save. I have been manually entering them but for some reason no go.
I then gave up and put the sim back into the xt701 and now I have the same problem there. So i thought it was a motorola issue, i called them and after much run around and many transfers they are closed till monday. (i am in Canada, the US guys would not help)
I am on the SaskTel 3G UTMS/GSM network, both phone are unlocked, and rooted. I rooted the Atrix yesterday in hopes that someone had a plan.
Please help, this is an awesome phone and I don't want to get rid of it.
