APNdroid and 3G watchdog on Inspire

does 3g watchdog report wifi usage? I only ask cause i also have netcounter and that shows wifi and mobile network usage and i noticed when netcounter says 0B for today, 3g watchdog is showing usage of 6.97MB but i am at home on wifi havent left the house yet and phone has been connected to wifi the entire time.

I have Watchdog and it only kicks in when my mobile data is turned on. I've checked and doubled checked and it's not catching any of my wifi. When my wifi is turned on (alot) data is off and watchdog is off and shows no changes. Seems like it works fine to me.

So does it take into account (while on 3g/4g) all the email, gps and facebook data usage also?

yep it will monitor all that plus any widgets using data for updates etc. pretty much just all data in general besides wifi usage (unless you get netcounter to monitor that)

Thanks!

Guess I'm gonna hafta upgrade to the 2gb plan. I'm out n about and using google maps a lot. I guess that'll eat up my data fast.

Just crazy how on my bb curve I'm browsing sites and google maps all day everyday and only max out at 60mb a month, but the census says I'd probably avg 800mb/mo :(

well the reason you use so much more data now is because RIM compressed all data usage you ever used on your BB so you were only downloading necessary information. i wish Android developers would jump in on that!!!
