Help Apollo music player stops responding

My apollo music player stops responding whenever I skip a song. However, the music keeps playing just the status bar icon goes away. I tried Apollo reborn also, but they both do the same thing. It says this:

At some point when you get more familiar with the flashing process, you're gonna have to install the rom the right way with the proper recovery.

Remember you used a recovery that is not for this phone and might give you adverse effects. Apollo works well on all the roms available for this phone.

Also I don't think that recovery did the factory reset which was needed unless you skip it altogether. My advice is to try and get everything installed the right way, or you're most likely going to experience all sorts of bugs.

It's working now. I have the application Greenify and it was stopping the process every time. I did that by accident lol.
