Apologies in advance: Two (probably daft) questions

Hiya,

I'm currently celebrating my first 24 hours with the Desire Z, so far it's followed the path of the standard relationship - strong physical attraction and plenty of awkward clumsy moments...

But there's 2 things I just can't figure out:

1 - *Solved this one*

2 - When trying to download apps from the marketplace they seem to freeze on 'starting to download', and never actually download...

I was thinking of taking my phone out for a swanky dinner to try and get to the bottom of it all, but this seemed like the quicker/cheaper option.

A quick reboot and it appears that i can now download apps...

However following the reboot my phone sent out EVERY message I've sent by txt for the past year again. I'm VERY popular right now...

Not been here long myself, but welcome to the forum. Nice to see more Brits here, my wife comes from your fair city so I know it quite well.

Sounds like you've had a couple of teething probs with the Z. I've had the phone since late November and I last had an iPhone 3GS.

I certainly wouldn't go back (not that the iPhone isn't great, it's just iTunes I hate).

The only problem is the software developers seem to create apps for the iPhone first, then Android (if at all) so there are a few apps I had on the iPhone that aren't available on Android.

Never mind. Great phone though, I'm sure you'll love it.

Where did you get it from, BTW? I bought mine SIM-free for

that happened to me, I'd been using my phone for a week or so, when decided if i was keeping it. I used the "transfer data" app to transfer my SMS via bluetooth from my blackberry. One restart and it started sending all my messages out! but it was sending both sides of the text conversations to the one person I was conversing with! Luckily I caught it early before it did too much damage :-# and put it in airplane mode and deleted them.
