In order to use apps2sd with your Ally, you will need to first root it. Once you do that, there are several ways to enable apps2sd. The easiest way is to install a Custom ROM such as Raptor v0.1 or Velocity v0.3 as both of these already have apps2sd built into them. To do it with a stock version of the VZB ROM from Verizon, you could take a look at this thread here: http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-root/191916-a2sd-multi-roms-ally.html
In any case, once apps2sd is working, your apps already installed will be moved there and anything new will go there automatically.
