App Alert: SD Card Speed Tester

My tests keep coming up ClassUnknown. I do not think I have anything reading or writing to the SD card but not sure. I have my pictures saving to the SD card and I have Handcent. Also I have a wallpaper that is from my SD card.

Any thoughts?

I tried it several times. Even turned my phone off and on again to reset something and nothing. Then as I am reading your reply I tried it again and it worked. Go figure! LOL

no, my first test the class was"unknown" , prob meaning some app was using card, maybe my backup was running.
just ran it again: 3.0 write 15.0 read class 2 ,this is an 8GB card that I got back in lg voyager days voyager>dare>omnia>dinc so still acceptable considering age and re-writes/formats the card has gone through.

My 8gb card first read as a "Class 10", then subsequent tests showed it to be "ClassUnknown". If you scroll up on your phone just a little bit, you'll see your write and read speed. For my card, it was 14 for write, 15 for read.

Yeah, mine finally read as a class 10 but is only a class 6.

The other thing that happened after the successful test was that my micro SD card was inaccessible. I had to actually reboot my phone for it to work correctly again.

Can u provide usefull tests about your memories? Ubuntu has an utility called palimpsest to do well this kind of benchmark.

N in Class N should be the minimum write speed! unfortunatly it isn't alwais so.

This is mine "Team Group" "class 6" 16gb sdhc

I bought it via ebay, an I'll ask refund

I am still using the 2GB card that came with the phone. I got 1 write and 6 Read. This seems really low. Any ideas?
Same here still using the 2gb card that came with the Dinc and the results are:
Write speed 5MB/s
Read speed 2MB/s
Class 4 Card
