First off, I am not an app developer. I am not developing this app with the android sdk. I am using the Android app "Tasker" and the app "App Factory". This is my attempt to take some Tasker profiles I have been using on my phone and make them work as an app so I can share it with others on this forum and with friends and family that don't use tasker.
My main objective is to have the most battery life possible and still be able to periodically get my updates from email and other sources and to make some things a little easier or quicker to do and to make the overall usage of the phone better. Hence the name. I have used a lot of battery saving apps and haven't found one yet that actually works the way I want it to work very well. I am incorporating different features and ideas from different apps into my one app.
I have been using the profiles with tasker and I get much more battery life than when I don't use them. Sometimes more than double. It depends on how I used the phone that day.
At this time the app should work on any phone but eventually it will be Esteem specific mainly due to kernal specific features. Ie. cpu speed control.
the way to use this app is to turn off mobile data and autosync and let it auto sync itself. eventually it will turn on data when you open certain apps but for now you can long press the search button to bring up the apps power menu.
Future Versions
I have a lot of features I want to add but there are too many to list at this time.
some include- adding apps for the mobile data to come on when the app is opened.
cpu control
automatically open gps settings when an app needs it.
And much more.

Ver 1.0
auto syncs every 30 minutes (turns on mobile data and autosync to recieve emails and updates)
long press search button to bring up power menu from any where. (When you have any app open)
If you have the free version of fast reboot it will do a quick boot every hour to make it run smoother.
Changes brightness level to about 70% when plugged into charger.
