I prefer Cache Clean Widget.
It does exactly what it says.
When things like keyboard feel laggy, tap the widget.
Dont use ones with a time schedual. Only tap it when you think its needed
As the cache fills, itl go from green to orange to red mate. Itl spin when its cleanin. No need when its green tho
Put it on a homescreen btw. Not just sittin in the app drawer
I use clean master cleans all the junk files and cache.
Funky, does that one require root? I'm not familiar with ones that don't.
I do have it setup to clean once a week, only takes a few seconds. If you are rooted, Lagfix is another great app to use from time to time.

I use SD Maid Pro. Works great
