So, this is my first android smartphone and a newbie to the android world. Phone was delivered yesterday and the first thing I did was to set up my google account (nah, another email address to manage 
). It was smooth sailing as I didn't encounter any problem syncing with the associated cantacts and calendar apps, I even have my google+ activated as well.
But then, when I tried to download an app from the android market, ok I tried the free ones first, there's this message popping up indicating that the app "could not be downloaded due to an error" this appeared to every app that I tried to download. Internet is working fine (amazingly fast!), so this should not be causing the problem
Does anyone encounter this same issue. Pls advise if you know how to resolve this.

PS, android market doesn't have my credit card info yet, did not provide it during the set up.
