Root App/ Feature Port - Can it be done?

Hey Guys! Is it possible to Port the Google Now Feature from JB to the Esteem. Dont be all mean about this, but can it be done. If so, how can we port it. I know, ive used the "Siri Clone" app for Android but Google Now blows them away.

Impossible no, but highly unlikely. Just like chrome its for Ics and up.

Porting it is pretty much impossible. Ics and Jb rely on different apis that gb just doesn't have. So in order to "port" you'll have to totally remake it using Gbs api's

Same thing with Chrome right? Has to be re built, cant be flashed.

Yup it depends on ICS/JB API's that GB just doesnt have. So to make apps that are for ICS/JB only youll have to rebuild the whole thing using GB's API's

Are API's just files? If so, can't we just pull/port them from ICS/JB?
