sorry i do not know. we get this question almost on a daily basis.

the problem is that there are millions upon millions of apps that use notification icons. so unless it is something like youtube or facebook, basically something popular, these questions always go unanswered. most of the time we can give guess as to what it is.

the other problem is that 99.99% of these inquiries are usually from people who do not own the phone. and majority of the time it is from a significant other who is suspicious of the other of using some kind of dating or messaging app.

so the easiest way to know it to look at the phone's notifications. the other way is to just ask, but this seems to be not as easy.
