Root App install as system app ?

Hi,

I was just wondering what the major advantages ( or disadvantages ) are when installing apps as system-apps in CWM via the APKInstaller.zip, besides from not having to re-install it if you format the SD-Card ?

(Might be a dumb question to some.... but heyyyyy, I am learning ! ) :p

Thanks,

vce

-If you make an app a system app. the phone then considers it part of the rom and it will survive a factory reset.
-Some apps run less efficiently in the sdcard. If your rom (or another app) places them on the sdcard, making it a system app moves it back to the phone (on the /system partition)

just keep in mind that /system isnt infinite. and putting too much into it can cause your phone to slow down.

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I know about the limited amount of system RAM.....

Was just thinking of moving TB and SDparter there....
