Android Question

Hi

I have two devices attached to the same Google account. When I install an app from Google Play it does not ask me what device I want to install it to so I assume the app gets installed on both. Is there any way I can have Google Play install to one device only?

Regards

Patrick

If it doesn't ask you that may well mean it is only compatible with one of them.

If there is a choice you will be able to pull down the device from the list and select the one you want. But as said, just using the Play Store app on the target device may be the simplest way.

Have you logged in to Play from both devices? You don't have to install anything, just a log-in may be enough to update the device list.

Note that newly-released devices may not be identified for some time. I had this problem with my latest phone, and used the My Wishlist feature as a workaround until it was fixed.
