Help App installation on home screen

I just got a samsung galaxy nexus. My main home screen is full of apps. When I install a new app, it will install it in my far left window. So all my new apps I have to slide over two windows to find my new app installs. It's really annoying. Is there a way to change this. I've searched through the settings and I can't seem to find anywhere to change where my new apps get installed. Your help would be great.

go to "playstore", "settings", Un-select "auto add widgets"
