It appears that this site appinventorforums (dot) com has been hacked so that it forwards to another site.

App Inventor Forums • Index page shows for a moment then goes elsewhere.

A click on that link will show the AppInventorForums forum page just briefly (it is a blue phpbb forum) and then it auto forwards to a site called myandroidlounge (dot) com,which is a black vbulletin forum with a section for the appinventor, but mainly it is an android site in general. I froze the first screen with the red x on my IE browser... and you can see that these are two different sites, seemingly stopped on July 28 (probably the day it got hacked to to forward to the other forum).

Very strange.

actually what happened is....... kcellb..... the fella who started this thread and that site kind of disappeared.......... so the admins he had appointed to help him with the site decided they wanted to start their own site........ and also decided they wanted to hijack all the original sites members........ so they simply put a forward on there.......

kind of rude and dirty IMO........ but apparently kcellb hasnt been back to his own site in over a month to see......... or he simply doesnt care

It is regrettable that the myandroidlounge dot com site is gone. Their section on Android Inventor was actually quite good with a couple of very helpful and knowledgeable people. Finding a good forum for the Android Inventor has been a difficult search (the official google groups simply has the problem of it being a google group... which is not a good forum format). The link provided to appinventor.org goes to a site, done by a college professor for a course on that app inventor he was teaching. The site appears to have been used for early training about the software. It isn't up to date and there is no active forum.

Any suggestions for another forum?
