App is grayed out.

Hello friends,
Myself Vishal and I have Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos(Gt-I9082) with Gellybean 4.2.2 on it.
There is an preinstalled app name 'Google Settings', which is looking grayed out as compared to other apps. There is no other problem with it and opens and works perfectly. However on my friends, cellphone
it is not looking as grayed out.
Is there any specific reason for this. I have already asked this question before on this forum but
someone replied that the problem is moved to forum where phones are discussed who does not have
dedicated forums. I didn't get that. Please explain.

Thanks.

If it opens and works correctly then it must be a cosmetic bug. I wouldn't worry about it.

edit: i found your previous post here, and looking at the attached screenshot can see nothing wrong. The Google Settings icon is simply grey in colour by design.

First of all Thank you very much.
But if it is so, it should look same on other phone models also, but in actual it is not. For instance on my friend's (Lenovo) mobile it is looking colored & vibrant.

Thanks.

Your friend may have installed a custom icon pack or theme that will change system icons. Or, Lenovo has a custom set of icons they use for their launcher. Find another Samsung and compare it to yours, it should be the same.
