Help APP KEEPs Popping up to install after being installed

I have a NVIDIA SHIELD on Lollipop and I installed an app from aptoide on my tablet, and after a few minutes-hours after installing the notification to install it again pops up and it keeps on popping up ever since
is there a way i can stop it, i have uninstalled the app and it still pops up, please help could it be a virus?

Yes, it could be a virus. I've had similar issues after side loading from aptoide myself. Try going into recovery and doing a dalvik cache wipe. Well, if you have it rooted, anyway.. I haven't played with lollipop yet so I don't have any other suggestions..
