app killer not killing talk app

If you are talkin about the gtalkservice app, then that app is needed for stuff like push gmail so don't have that app killed automatically

I believe that app gets started for all Google services including the market...I've heard warnings of not having the app automatically killed. Just make a shortcut to the running service menu to kill it quickly

do you mind telling how to do that?

Long press on home screen, select shortcuts, settings, and select running services. That widget will take you right to the running service menu

Are you still receiving push email from Google and are you able to use the market?

I don't push email for google...I will test it now. Market works fine..I downloaded a couple apps after removing the file earlier today.

Update: Push email works with no problem.
