Have a galaxy SIII. Battery barely lasts all day and all I do is make a few calls and text. Rarely on the web and don't play games. Tried app killer Battery Dr Saver but when I kill the apps, a short time later they are running again. What am I doing wrong and is there a better app killer/battery saver out there.

You don't need a task/app killer, that goes against the way Android works and can actually have a detrimental impact on battery life. Have a read through this for more info: http://androidforums.com/android-applications/335110-why-you-dont-need-task-killer.html

Get a widget to keep data turned off, keep the apps from doing what they do.

Its far better to discover whats causing the power drain and fix it than to use any gimmick apps imo.
Try running Wakelock Detector (read the description first) through a full discharge and see if anything stands out :thumbup:
