App Market - Updates

Hey guys, is there a setting somewhere on the phone that controls how often the phone will check on the market for updates to apps you already have installed? If not, what is the default, as in how often does the phone check?

I have never really noticed..... but mine seems to only do it when I visit the market.

+1.... I know you can turn on automatic updating for apps but I doubt you can change the time interval for checking updates.

I've never come across a setting for this. I've also found that notifications for updates are very inconsistent. I usually just manually check for updates once a day.
