[App] Moto X style "Active Notifications"

I installed it earlier today on my Razr HD and am really liking it so far. Weren't you clever to create a new thread, I was just lazy and added it the "epic" Moto X one. :p

Lol i was surprised noone had posted it here. Yeah i love it. Ive found a couple of bugs but for a work in progress its excellent :)

Galaxy Nexus stock everything on 4.3 and this doesn't work. It only occasionally shows the active notifications screen and when it does it shows only notifications from Power Toggles and that one notification is always that the phone is at 1% battery no matter what the battery is actually at.

Anyone else noticed a conflict with Light Flow app? Its like only one of them will work properly. Im wondering which dev would have to change their app for them both to work? I love both but my loyalty is with LF.
i understand that LF only uses the LED when the screen is off but even after ActiveNotifications times out, the LED doesnt go on

Nah not yet man. Just mailed the LF dude Andrew and he hasnt tried the app yet.. id guess he's testing it as we speak lol
Can u pm me the APK please mate?

Me no believe in sideloading!

Just yesterday Andrew helped me troubleshoot a problem I was having with LF.

Check the following:
- Settings > Security > Notification Access
toggle it on and off

- Settings > Accessibility > Service
toggle it on and off

Will do man. Yeah he's helped me out a good few times too. Thats the kinda dev i really like. He actually cares and doesnt mind that youre using xxxx rom with xxx kernel and xxxx mod :)

His response time needs work though. Yesterday I had to wait about 4 minutes for him to reply to one of my emails.

Is the breathing working for you guys? Seems to hold it's breath on mine, never breaths, I just get the initial notification and nothing else.

I havent bought pro yet. You can join the alpha or beta test groups. Im beta testing. On google+ just search in communities for ActiveNotifications (its old name)

I finally re-installed this and got it working. I see the point of it. Especially since I have an AMOLED screen.

But since I run LightFlow, I kind of don't see the point of it. I know I can get more details about the email, etc. if I pull up on the notification. But I have LightFlow down to a science and I know a lot about what my alert is before I even pick up my phone by the color, LED flash rate, notification sound and vibration patterns. I've always said with LightFlow "if I can just see my phone from across the room I know what is going on with it"

Yeah i use it with lightflow but LF just tells me the type of notification then i tap the icon on DM to get a preview and see if its worth lookin at :)

Weird. It was working this morning, when I got up it was showing a 'breathing' notification from Twitter. I've sat there and watched it not breathe though! :dontknow:

So what does this do that NOLED doesn't? As far as I can see, NOLED is still way better. It does notifications for ALL apps installed, or just choose which you want. You can select color or icon to flash. Heck you can even set blink durations, proximity sensor effect, etc.
