App names not showing up on homescreen

So I've been playing around with my x lately using lp and all of a sudden all the names for my apps are done, when I put a new app on my homescreen the name disappears and i cant see it. Does anyone know why this happened or possibly a fix for it?

Launcher Pro provides for invisible app names in the UI settings menu. Perhaps you've checked a box inadvertently in there.

If you are using LP, then menu>preferences>appearance settings>hide icon labels.
