Help App or option to turn off touch-screen?

I'm wondering if there is an app or menu option to turn the touch screen on & off.

Sometimes when I'm watching videos while holding the phone in my hand, if I get distracted for a second (say someone comes up and talks to me) and I move the phone, the slightest brush of my hands near the screen plays havoc with the video I'm watching.

I'd like a way to temporarily toggle the touch screen on/off, say with volume/base button combination or something.

Anyone heard of anything like that?

way2success thanks, but any apps do the task.

I would like turn off touch-screen on my tablet Pc because it's a resistive touch screen, so it consumes energy and i use 50% of the times a external keyboard and a finger mouse.
