App or someway to get it to read me texts and emails?

Is there a way to have the Note2 read me my text messages and emails aloud?

Enhanced Caller ID is the best thing for that. It announces calls, reads SMS, GMail etc. You can customize what and how much it reads. It has widgets that let you silence it and one to let you reply to SMS with your voice. I bought the app but I think there is a free version as well.

As far as I know Driving Mode only reads text messages.
