Root [App][Port] Silk Browser

Hey I just found and tried this silk browser port by TyHi over at xda and got it to work on my triumph. I know I read it a while back but I believe the browser was supposed to make pages render faster or something of that nature. Amazon video FCd on the reboot but the browser seems to work well. I'm not sure if its faster or if its a placebo effect but its definitely not slower than stock. Either way all credit goes to TyHi. Here's the link if anyone else wants to try it.

I did this last night, worked like a charm. only thing though is there is no need to install the account apk from the guide. Wasn't expecting to like it on my fire but I do. not enough use on my phone as of yet to give a thumbs up or down but been using it so far today without any issues.


Edit: Been a few days and although the thing is fast as all something something it’s designed for the Fire. Everything is way large for a phone and it includes the soft onscreen keys built into the Kindle. Still love it on my Kindle though. Have made a few attempts at putting the CM7 Browser on my Kindle but so far no go.
 
Having an issue downloading this I used the link above and downloaded it it downloads as an HTML have no idea why I'm I doing something wrong if so can someone help me I'm bored and wanna try something new on my phone lol
 
ok when i click the link which one do i download do i download the Silk installer or do i download the download pack cause the installer is roughly around 10mbs and the pack is around 8mbs i downloded them both to computer and now dont know whick ones i install the directions are kinda difficult for me to understand sorry for being slow lol
